Educational Philosophy

Many are called, but few are chosen. I consider it a gift to call myself a teacher. To surround oneself with bright, inspired, and curious minds is a joy only few can value and cultivate.

For me, education in my classroom goes beyond textbooks and math problems; it starts with relationships. Building interpersonal, specialized, and unique bonds with my students not only helps them absorb curriculum content but also supports character development and leadership potential. Taking a personal interest in understanding what motivates each student, I am better able to use their passion and interests to create tailored lessons. This approach invites students to take more responsibility for their own educational destiny.

Moreover, I am also deeply fascinated in research-based teaching practices. Though I am a teacher, I am still a student in many ways; I am constantly in the pursuit of new and innovative techniques to improve my skills as an educator to cultivate the most advanced classroom experience.

It has always been my belief that students learn best when they feel supported to take risks, fail, try again, and succeed; successful classrooms maintain a safe space for exploration and discovery. By implementing a growth mindset in my classroom, students understand that improvement and knowledge involve hard work. Additionally, when students feel known and valued and recognize that their teacher will never give up on them, they will never give up on themselves.

Overall, building meaningful relationships and positive and inspiring learning environments is my life's work. To see a child succeed with confidence and pride is the outcome in the teaching profession. I am thankful for the opportunities to learn and grow alongside my students as we foster love, respect, and gratitude for ourselves and each other.
